FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: complex is most applicable when working on wells, where fountain and gas lift oil production methods are used, as well as for complex treatment of bottomhole reservoir zone together with acoustic (ultrasonic) radiators. The complex with a plasma spark gap consists of two main parts: a ground power supply and control unit and a downhole electrohydraulic device consisting of a stabilization unit, a block of capacitors and a plasma spark gap. It has a length less than 3 meters and diameter less than 52 mm, which ensures free passage of the device through all existing pump-compressor pipes. The device has a modular design that allows to increase the capacity of the plasma spark gap from 0.5 to 3 kJ. It also includes plasma spark gap of easily parsed construction for replacement electrodes and installing a new coil wire that has a wire inch unit power takeoff driven by a piston mechanism operating from a high pressure pulse produced by the spark gap itself.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of operation to improve oil recovery when working through the pump-compressor pipes.
