METHOD OF ELECTROHYDRAULIC IMPACT ON OIL FORMATION Russian patent published in 2025 - IPC E21B28/00 E21B43/25

Abstract RU 2836799 C1

FIELD: obtaining oil from wells.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil production and can be used in bottomhole formation zone (hereinafter BFZ) or wells (injection, production) for stimulation of fluid inflow to the well bottom, namely: to create secondary fracturing of the formation. To implement the method of electrohydraulic impact on the oil formation, an electrohydraulic pulse device connected to a ground power supply is placed in the well in the zone of impact on the formation. Device contains electrically interconnected: a charging device, two units of storage capacitors, a discharge unit equipped with electrodes, a pressure sensor, a controller and a switch connected to a power supply by a key. Storage capacitor units are charged to the required voltage value. First unit of storage capacitors in the discharge gap is discharged and pressure in the discharge gap is simultaneously measured using a controller. At the moment of arrival of the backward wave, the controller fixes the time and issues a command to the commutator to discharge the second unit of capacitors, simultaneously opening the key for charging the first unit of capacitors. When the required voltage is reached on the first unit of capacitors, the cycle is repeated.

EFFECT: increase of energy delivered to pores of BFZ, with further increase of efficiency of action on oil-bearing formation due to simultaneous (in-phase) action of direct and reflected waves.
