FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: furnace consists of case equipped with burners for work-pieces heating transported from one end of furnace to another. The case has a zone of unloading located downstream of work pieces travel through a tunnel of a chamber in the direction of work-pieces unloading. The chamber is closed by means of an unloading hatch. Also the zone of unloading located downstream of work pieces travel is limited at its end with at least one obstacle located upstream of work pieces travel. This obstacle geometrically forms and limits the air dividing chamber of unloading designed for dividing gas flows and processes of heat transfer in such way, that steel work pieces located in the said air dividing chamber of unloading have uniform temperature.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of furnace, improved tightness, and upgraded quality of work pieces heating.
