FIELD: means of protection.
SUBSTANCE: multi-layer armored barrier for manufacture of individual protection means, transport means and stationary objects, according to version 1, consists of three layers - face, intermediate and rear, which are joined to each other at molecular level. Face layer is arranged with thickness (0.35÷0.46)H relative to total thickness of armored barrier (H) from tool alloyed steel of 9XC grade. Intermediate layer is arranged with thickness (0.03÷0.04)H relative to total thickness of armored barrier (H) from stainless steel of grade 08X18H10, rear layer is arranged with thickness (0.51÷0.62)H relative to total thickness of armored barrier (H) from structural alloyed chrome-nickel-molybdenum steel of certain composition. Face and rear layers are arranged with hardness of 62 - 65 HRC and 57 - 58 HRC accordingly or 60 - 63 HRC and 55-56 HRC accordingly. Multi-layer armored barrier, according to version 2, comprises rear layer from structural chrome-nickel-molybdenum steel of certain composition.
EFFECT: high bulletproof resistance to bullets of various calibre.
