FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method and a device for graphical presentation based on user settings in an application computer program for working with graphics. Settings relate to various properties of one or more graphic elements. Such properties include positioning, size, format and other visual attributes associated with graphic elements. These properties can be defined or as semantic properties or as presentation properties. Semantic properties are permanent for all graphic solutions. Presentation properties are specific for the graphic solution to which each specific graphics belongs. That way, the semantic property setting of the displayed graphics is stored in memory for application not only for the currently displayed graphics, but also to all other graphic solutions which can be displayed in future. Conversely, the presentation property setting is stored only for the graphics currently displayed, and therefore is not stored for all other graphic solutions.
EFFECT: easier operation with graphics.
