FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to panoramic television observation which is realised by a television system through a television camera with all-round view in a region closer to a hemisphere, i.e. in a spatial angle of 360 degrees on the azimuth and tens of degrees on the angle of elevation. In the plane of the output image of the panoramic catadioptic lens there is a fibre optic cap having n light guide branches (bundles). The television signal unit has n video signal sensors, the target of each of which is docked through a fibre optic joint with one of the n bundles, and the outputs are connected to corresponding inputs of the image reconstruction unit whose output is the output of the television camera. The number n of bundles and video signal respectively satisfy the relationship: where γh is the horizontal angle of view of the image observed by the operator in degrees.
EFFECT: increased photoelectric conversion frame frequency due to paralleling of the photodetector target.
