FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the plant for removing mercury component from excavated formation liquid hydrocarbon, such as crude oil or condensate of natural gas. Plant for removing mercury from liquid hydrocarbon includes catalytic column which is filled with solid catalytic agent, the first desorber and device for pre-separation, which is provided before catalytic column filled with solid catalytic agent. In catalytic column filled with solid catalytic agent, mercury component in crude liquid hydrocarbon is converted to element mercury with the purpose of obtaining the first liquid hydrocarbon containing element mercury. In the first desorber the first liquid hydrocarbon is brought into counterflow contact with the first desorbing gas, and as a result, element mercury is moved from the first liquid hydrocarbon to the first desorbing gas for the purpose of obtaining the second liquid hydrocarbon in which the number of element mercury is decreased, and the first gaseous hydrocarbon containing element mercury. In pre-separation device the crude liquid hydrocarbon is divided into the fifth gaseous hydrocarbon in which there is high concentration of mercury component, and the fifth liquid hydrocarbon in which there is low concentration of mercury component.
EFFECT: providing effective removal of mercury from liquid hydrocarbon by means of cheap devices.
