FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: ignition method of flare devices involves automatic formation of stoichiometric gas mixture of combustible and oxidiser by means of electrolysis of water solution of hydroxide of alkali metal and initiation with high-voltage discharge in ignition line of detonation combustion of this mixture, by the flame of which thermal utilisation of waste gases and industrial wastes is performed. At that, ignition line is performed with branching meeting the following ratio: , where: D - inner tube diametre of the main ignition line; d - inner tube diametre of the ignition line branch; n - the number of branches, at that, n>1.
EFFECT: improving reliability and ignition efficiency of flare devices at decrease of consumption of resources and energy by excluding the use of produced gas for initiation of combustion of waste gases and industrial wastes.
