SUBSTANCE: navigation system can output information on the situation in a defined area in accordance with road traffic information in real time. The navigation device enables to know when the vehicle enters the defined area when the situation affecting movement of the vehicle on the navigation route occurred. The navigation device can also advise the user to enter instructions in order to implement corresponding counteractions in accordance with the situation, e.g. repeated search of the navigation route or detour of the output navigation route.
