FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: superconducting multiple-core wire comprises outer insulation shell, matrix from stabilising material, with superconducting modules of circular section arranged in it and adjacent to each other, in matrix of which there are superconducting cores of circular section arranged with superconducting current-bearing elements arranged longitudinally to central axial core and adjacent to inner shell of module. At the same time diametre of module equals three diametres of superconducting core, and ratio of core cross section area to area of module cross section equals 0.77 ÷ 0.78, and ratio of core cross section area to area of wire cross section equals 0.61, besides superconducing modules are arranged in the form of multilayer structure and are arranged in parallel rows. Section of wire may be arranged as square.
EFFECT: increased current-bearing property of wire in process of AC and DC passage with improvement of technical and economic indices due to simplification of wire manufacturing technology and improvement of its reliability.
