FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and intended for use as electric energy contactless electromagnetic input device from common or superconducting power network into single-phase superconducting cable or commercial frequency alternating current superconducting magnet system. Superconducting transformer includes magnetic conductor, cryostat, primary and secondary power, multilayer cylindrical superconducting windings with concentric layers of turns. Multilayer cylindrical excitation winding with concentrically located tightly wound turns and layers, adjacent to each other, is connected in parallel to primary power winding, placed between magnet core and primary and secondary power windings. Turns of primary power and secondary windings are made loosely wound. Layers of turns are arranged relative to each other with gap. Multilayer cylindrical excitation winding is placed in cryostat. Outside its liquid nitrogen cavity capacitor is arranged, connected in parallel to excitation winding, which is spatially removed from primary power winding to distance of (0.12÷0.15)R. Number of primary winding turns is equal to (1.02÷1.05)W, where R is primary power winding cross section radius, W is number of excitation winding turns. Excitation winding is made from high-temperature superconducting multiple-strand belt wire.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of carrying capacity, power and efficiency.
