FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, more specifically to ophthalmosurgery and can be used in cataract treatment by phacoemulsification technique on eyes with pesudoexfoliative syndrome (PES). Cataract phacoemulsification is peformed through a small tunnel incision, followed by implantation of an intraocular lens in a capsular sac and cleaning of a pesudoexfoliative material in the angle of anterior chamber within trabecule with using a visually controlled cannula. A tunnel incision is performed in the cornea layers, while cleaning in the trabecule region is enabled with using a straight irrigation cannula with a silicone tube inside projecting out of the cannula end for 0.4-0.5 mm to make mechanical cleaning of trabecule alternated with hydraulic cleaning carried out by supplying a physiological solution jet of adjustable pressure through the same cannula. Thus the cannula moves in a horizontal plane describing an arc trajectory to be delivered consequently through the tunnel incision and paracentesis which have a length exceeding a diametre of the cannula not less than by 0.7 mm.
EFFECT: method allows reducing number of operative and postoperative complications, and reducing operation time.
