FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Antiglaucomatous operation is performed simultaneously with phacoemulsification with IOL implantation, regardless of the degree of transparency of the lens. At the completion stage phacoemulsification is aspiration treatment of trabecula by directing the aspiration cannula in the anterior chamber angle in the mode of aspiration-irrigation phacoemulsifier. Antiglaucomatous intervention is performed by puncture of the inner wall of Schlemm's canal with penetration into the anterior chamber, the formed opening diameter 50 mcm. Several holes to achieve the visual filtration after drying zone of the incisional wound. Distance between holes shall provide their isolated nature.
EFFECT: method allows to ensure smooth reduction and long-term normalisation of intraocular pressure in pseudoexfoliation glaucoma due to combination of different intensity and duration of the antihypertensive effects of phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation and modified antiglaucomatous surgery that collectively provides more effective surgical treatment and patient satisfaction functional results.
