The prepared herbal raw material is ultrasounded in an extraction apparatus to produce an extract, recover organic solvents and residue herbal raw material. The process is staged: the first stage involves low-frequency ultrasonic field and broadband exposure mode at power density at least 0.05 Wt/cm³, and the second stage - low-frequency ultrasonic field and resonant exposure mode at power density at least 0.5 Wt/cm³.

EFFECT: invention ensures more rapid process and higher yield of the active substances.
