FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection system designed to protect a person against fatal vertical accelerations. In compliance with this invention, person (3) sits on platform of seat (7) and is fastened to seat backrest (8). The latter is coupled with varying-length damping element (11) coupled with side (4) of compartment (2) via load carrying appliance (6). Sitting person is moved along vertical (18) and crosswise (19) trajectories. Vertical (18) and crosswise (19) trajectories are set by load carrying appliance (6), their drives being spaced apart vertically. Person (7), under load caused by vertical acceleration of compartment (2) moves both down and along pitch. Load carrying appliance (6) is coupled with roof (4) so that vertical acceleration acting on floor (10) of compartment (2) and transferred to rood (4) is transmitted to load carrying appliance.
EFFECT: higher safety due to decomposition of impact forces into vertical and crosswise components.
