FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railroad transport. Proposed autorack car comprises top platform (1) whereon car are arranged horizontally one after the other and consisting of horizontal sections (3) above car wheel trucks (5), central section (6) arranged at minimum height above rail heads to connected their inclined sections (8). Central part floor (6) consists of smaller platforms that, after car located thereon, are inclined and locked. Said smaller platforms are furnished with car front wheel locks arranged on all smaller platforms, except for one, between turn axis and opposite edge of smaller platform. Note that on one of the extreme smaller platforms, turn axis is located between front wheel lock and remote edge of smaller platform. Note also that a section of aforesaid turn axis, ahead of front wheel, makes a blunt angle with the remaining section, angle magnitude being smaller that that of the other smaller platforms.

EFFECT: more compact arrangement of cars.
