SUBSTANCE: centrifugal fan includes housing, impeller with telescopic inlet connection pipe, which is installed in its cavity; telescopic inlet connection pipe consists of rigidly fixed annular guide element and movable connection pipe, which form an annular channel with a shell installed outside movable connection pipe and rigidly connected with it by means of spokes so that their combined axial movement is provided. At that, movable connection pipe is telescopic and has straight-line generatrix, movable shell and toroidal outlet section; shell is installed in annular channel. And has inlet toroidal header made of inner and outer parts with possibility of axial movement in inlet box.
EFFECT: possibility of controlling the operating mode in the fan and effective elimination of separated vortex formation in the area of cover disc of the fan impeller.
