FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method involves movement of objects on weighing machines consisting of two platform scales with an insert. Load codes are measured using a fast analogue to digital converter, departure and runover of axles is determined, the "weighing machine free" state is detected, where during passage of objects, characteristic combinations of runovers and depatures are made. Bogies are weighed on the selected combinations. When the weighing times for the 1st and the 2nd bogie coincide, weighing is done carriage by carriage, otherwise weighing is done bogie by bogie. Measurement in static is stopped through a computer "End of measurement" instruction, and in motion - on the first runover or departure after the beginning of measurement.
EFFECT: possibility of weighing different types of railway objects in static and in motion with close errors in both cases.
