FIELD: weighing apparatus or methods.
SUBSTANCE: method includes moving a vehicle along the balance, measuring, and storing the readings of loading when single axle is on the balance. The weight of axles are then determined by averaging the loading readings. The total weight of the vehicle is assumed to be the sum of the weights of all single axles.
