FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to obtain organosilanes by reacting (haloorganyl)alkoxysilane with a sulphonating agent. The reagent is selected from hydroxysulphides of alkali metals, sulphides of alkali metals Me₂S, polysulphides of alkali metals Me₂S_g and any combinations, where Me denotes an alkali metal, NH₄ or (alkali-earth metal)_1/2, and g ranges from 1.5 to 8.0. The reaction is also optionally carried out with sulphur and/or H₂S in alcohol. Me₂S or Me₂S_g contains more than 10 wt % water and the alkali metal hydrosulphide contains more than 3 wt % water.

EFFECT: invention enables use of water-containing sulphonating agents and shortening the reaction time for obtaining organosilanes.
