FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ferrous metallurgy, particularly to methods of changing physical structure of ferromagnetic alloys by deformation combined with further heat processing. Invention can be applied in obtainment of semi-solid constant magnets used in production of such items as hysteresis motor (HM) rotor discs, for instance. To improve magnetic and mechanical properties, maraging steel blank reinforced with low-diffusibility elements in total amount comparable to that of H17K10B10MT steel undergoes cold plastic deformation and aging at temperature below reverse martensitic transformation point of steel. Aging is performed with heating to 400-480°C or with two-stage heating to 350-400°C first and to 480-520°C further, and cold plastic deformation is performed with deformation ratio of 40-60%.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of processing.
