FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to composition of cast iron. Cast iron contains elements at a following ratio, wt %: carbon 3.6-4.0; silicon 1.6-2.0; manganese 13.0-15.0; chromium 38.0-40.0; copper 0.2-0.3; boron 2.2-2.3; tellurium 0.001-0.002; the rest is iron.
EFFECT: implementation of the invention provides upgraded hardness of iron.
