METHOD FOR TRANSPOSITION OF RAILS IN CONTINUOUS WELDED RAIL TRACK IN CURVILINEAR SECTIONS Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC E01B29/05

Abstract RU 2391456 C2

FIELD: construction, road engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport and may be used to perform works on transposition of rails of railway track in curvilinear sections for prolongation of their service life. In process of transposition of rails in continuous welded rail track in curvilinear sections, cross sections of rails transposition start and end are defined, rails are unfixed, and devices that reduce forces of resistance to longitudinal motions of rails are placed under foot of transposed rails. Then initial cross sections of rails are moved to their new design position and fixed. Frames are charged to transpose rails, frames are connected with rigid links, length of links is controlled, moved by movable unit of frame for transposition of rails in direction from the start of transposition to its end. In process of transposition longitudinal forces are applied in direction from end of transposition to its start to transposed inner thread, and longitudinal forces are applied in direction from start of transposition to its end to transposed external thread. Devices that reduce forces of resistance to longitudinal motions of transposed rails are removed immediately after lifting of rails threads from gasket flanges, transposed sections of rails are fixed on underrail base, frames are discharged to transpose rails. Difference in lengths of rigid links are previously determined from the following ratio: ΔΔx = ±3.18x/R±0.795, m, where x - length of rigid link, which does not vary its length, m; R - radius of curve, m.

EFFECT: invention provides for improvement of efficiency, due to detection of accurate value of difference in length of each pair of rigid links in process of their length adjustment.
