FIELD: non-detachable joining or fastening track components in or on the track, particularly by welding. SUBSTANCE: method of rail strings welding involves leaving end part of one rail string to be weld un-connected with rail support; bending said end portion in vertical plane; butting end faces of rail strings; welding these end faces; unbending bended portion; treating weld seam; connecting real strings to rail support. Bend in vertical plane is made strongly along rail chair central axis located between chair lugs in motionless guiders of rail slides with securing thereof on rail support and preliminary installing fixing insert. Rail slider is formed as U-shaped frame with stiffening ribs and with support legs having orifices for insertion of fastening members. Device has two fixing inserts. One surface of fixing insert is straight and contacts with motionless guiders of rail slider. Another surface of fixing insert concurs with side surface of bended rail.
