FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to rolling and sliding bearings of various mechanisms and machines, and also to separate components of machines - beads, rollers, bushings, axles and other components. The bearing consists of components made out of fibre material. Also as fibre material there are used multi-layer band or wire. Metal band or wire are in compacted and thermally toughened condition, while fibres are pressed between them by cold plastic deformation. Also here is disclosed the procedure for bearing fabrication consisting in forming components by means of winding rolled metal in several layers. Rolled metal is in thermally toughened and brittle-ductile condition. Plastic bend of rolled metal is performed before winding. Winding is carried out with tension of tensile stresses near elastic limit of rolled material. Upon or in process of winding the formed component is subject to expansion facilitating required density of fibres, specified shape and dimensions.
EFFECT: increased rigidity and durability of bearing components.
