FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: gas burner consist of case, gas nozzle with head in front end, tube for supply of compressor air installed on axle of gas nozzle, mechanism for transfer of tube for supply of compressor air and of mechanism for transfer of nozzle in case of burner. The gas nozzle consists of a cylinder branch and of a confusor rigidly connected. Four guiding plates of rectangular shape are rigidly fixed on the tube for compressor air supply before the head of the burner, also two plates are arranged vertically, while the other two - horizontally; at the end of the tube there is installed one nozzle in form of a confusor with a cylinder head. The mechanism of transfer of the tube for compressor air supply is made as a ball joint consisting of truncated solid metal ball with a through opening and hollow semi-sphere with an opening in centre. Also the ball is rigidly tied with the tube via its through opening, while the semi-sphere is rigidly tied with the cylinder branch and with its side opening. Openings of the semi-sphere and cylinder branch are coaxial. The ball and semi-sphere are connected by means of a flange rigidly fixed on the truncated part of the ball, by means of four pins rigidly secured to the cylinder branch of the gas nozzle and by means of nuts. The mechanism of gas nozzle transfer is made as the ball joint consisting out of a hollow truncated ball and hollow semi-sphere with a hole in centre. Also the ball with its truncated part is rigidly and coaxially tied with the case; while the semi-sphere is rigidly and coaxially connected with the cylinder branch of the gas nozzle. The ball and the semi-sphere are connected by means of two flanges. One of the flanges is rigidly fixed on the case, while another - on the cylinder branch of the gas nozzle. The flanges are tied with bolts and nuts.
EFFECT: there is facilitated complete burning of low-calorie gases with preliminary and fine adjustment of length and orientation of flare in thermo-technical device with required thermal efficiency; also simplicity of design ensures increased reliability of burner in operation; specified by design gas-air mixture presence exclusively in burner head facilitates explosion safety of burner.
