FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: manometre comprises cylindrical body, in which unit of holder is installed with Bourdon tube inside body and nozzle for connection to measured pressure from outer side of body. Bourdon tube with its free end is joined by means of traction to transfer pinion-sector mechanism, which transforms motion of tube free end into circular motion of pointer installed on pinion axis and arranged over dial plate. Bourdon tube is made as composite of two and more thin-walled tubes placed one onto another by means of tight fit Δ, which increases its mechanical strength. Composite Bourdon tube preserves its tightness even in case cracks appear, which are then blocked. If cracks appear on inner thin-walled composite Bourdon tube, then they are blocked by outer one, and vice versa, if they appear on outer one, they are blocked with inner one. Dimensions of composite tubes may be invariant depending on specified working pressure.
