SUBSTANCE: interface module includes ports for connection along the network with the help of the first protocol with multiple field devices. Interface module also has port for communication with controller of technological process via high-speed network and protocol, such as high-speed Ethernet network (HSE). Interface module includes controller for implementation of multiple functional modules of technological process, besides each of these multiple functional modules of technological process complies with one of multiple field devices. Remote programmability, transmission of electronic mail messages and generation of warning signals are supported.
