FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, in particular to treatment of diabetes mellitus. For this purpose partial deportalisation of blood outflow from pancreas is carried out. One-sided adrenalectomy is performed. Ablation of left and right celiac ganglia is carried out and celiac nerves are transected from two sides.
EFFECT: claimed method allows to improve metabolism of carbohydrates in liver, secretion of insulin by pancreas, reduce secretion of contrinsular hormones of the other adrenal gland, increasing efficiency of operative intervention.
