FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to surgery and can be applied in surgical treatment of diabetes mellitus. Method includes partial deportalisation of blood outflow from pancreas, unilateral adrenalectomy and resection of anterior hepatic plexus. In order to perform more complete shunting of blood outflow from pancreas, bypassing liver, all inflows of left renal vein are intersected and ligated. After that, adrenalectomy is performed on the left and distal splenorenal venous anastomosis "end-to-side" is created. Application of claimed invention makes it possible to obtain increase of blood shunting from pancreas, bypassing liver, which increases operation efficiency.
EFFECT: intersection of all inflows of renal vein facilitates formation of anastomosis and reduces possibility of its thrombosis.
