SUBSTANCE: batch of inventions belongs to the field of veterinary radiobiology, notably to method of radiation sickness treatment and prevention in utility dogs. Treatment method consists of intrapulmonary injection of 1% collargol solution, diluted with 0.5% officinal solution of novocain in amount of 1-3 mg/kg 2 hours after radiation exposure, and of hypodermal injections of 0.5% collargol solution, diluted with 0.5% officinal solution of novocain in amount of 3-5 mg/kg of body mass 15, 24 and 48 hours after radiation exposure. On this background, from 1st up to 25th day dogs receive injections of ascorbic acid and 1 ml of 1% vicasol solution and ingest Phytochides - 02 and Mumiyo 5 tablets per dog each as general tonic treatment. Starting from the 5th day after radiation exposure dogs receive 3 ml of 3% Baytril solution additionally. Prevention method consists of intrapulmonary injections of 1% collargol solution, diluted with 0.5% officinal solution of novocain in amount of 3-5 mg/kg on 5th, 3th and 1st day before radiation exposure; as general tonic treatment, dogs receive injections of ascorbic acid and 1 ml of 1% vicasol solution and ingest Phytochides - 02 and Mumiyo 5 tablets per dog each. On this background, starting from the 5th day after radiation exposure dogs receive 3 ml of 3% Baytril solution additionally.
