FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to machine building and can be implemented in agricultural engineering, and in flour-milling, granary and feed-mill industries for cleaning loose materials, mainly grain and grain materials from light-weight impurities with air flow. The pneumatic separator consists of a pneumatic separating channel with a cross window for supply of separated material; a feeder on the shaft is installed in the channel. Surface of the feeder is formed with two symmetrically arranged sieves made in form of a truncated paraboloid of revolution and joined diametres of the biggest bases. Comb-shaped-plate-like sparger-agitators are symmetrically set on internal surface of the feeder sieve. Internal part of the feeder is perfectly hollow. Centring shells with half-axes secured on them are located on both ends of the feeder.
EFFECT: upgraded quality and increased efficiency of separation, also reduced energy consumption for drive of feeder of pneumatic separator.
