FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pipe-welding production, particularly to production of welded pipes on continuous pipe-electro-welding installations with high-frequency source of heating work-piece lengthwise edges. The pipe-welding stand consists of a bed, of movable pads with welding rollers arranged on the bed, of mechanisms of rollers installation with compression screws, of units adjusting value of welding pressure placed in recesses fitted for these units in ends of the pads and covers, and of force sensors. Each unit of welding pressure adjustment is made in form of at least one flexible beam of variable cross section with rectangular platforms on ends and cylinder separate insertions mounted on the platforms. Each unit of welding pressure adjustment is equipped with a foot bearing located in the cover; the foot bearing has a plate rigidly attached to it; also each adjustment unit is equipped with a wedge-shaped bracket installed in a slot made in the pad. The foot bearing and the compression screw interact with the flexible beam in the middle part. The sensors are secured on pads and interact with the plate of the foot bearing.
EFFECT: disclosed design of pipe-welding stand ensures upgraded quality of lengthwise seams of welded pipes.
