FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engines. Impulse engine includes housing with compression chamber and working chamber, which are installed at an angle of 180 degrees relative to each other. There is a projection with central hole of smaller diametre in the housing in internal cavity in the centre. Rotor is loose fit in internal cavity of central projection. Rotor has minimum number of graded slots - four and more, and the blades are installed in them along loose fit. Compression chamber constantly connected with inlet opening, and working chamber constantly interconnected with the outlet opening, are located in internal cavity of central projection in the housing according to the working cycle irrespective of each other by volume. Projection is covered on both sides with covers. Blades are paired and staged and the working edge of which has semi-circle. Compression chamber and working chamber are separated with two equal sections of smaller diametre, the length of arcs of which is equal to length of the arc between two staged paired blades along external diametre of rotor. Rotor has compression chamber with auxiliary channel between each two paired blades.

EFFECT: higher engine power.
