FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument industry and may be used for measurement of angles of different objects' deviation from the vertical. The sensor contains a housing with a cylindrical chamber filled with a homogenous liquid. Inside the chamber a pendulum plate is arranged with the help of two axles and special bearings. Installed at an angle of 45° to the side facet of the housing are a radiator and an ultrasound receiver. The plate is used as ultrasound reflector. The radiator is connected to the generator output while the receiver is connected to the signal pre-processing module whose output is connected to the amplitude detector input.

EFFECT: extension of the measured range of angles of deviation from the vertical and provision for the plate vibration damping.
