FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control instrumentation and may be used for estimate of presence of joints at the spot of earthing device horizontal elements intersection. Over the horizontal element before and after the intersection magnetic field tension sensors are arranged with the help whereof one estimates the value of magnetic field tension from the currents in the horizontal elements. By the known values of magnetic field tension and horizontal element embedment depth one defines the value and direction of current therein. By the result of substation of currents in the horizontal element before and after the intersection spot (with account for direction) one may conclude on presence of joints at the spot of earthing device horizontal elements intersection.
EFFECT: decreased labour intensity of estimate of joints at the spot of earthing device horizontal elements intersection.
