FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diagnostics of induction motors with phase rotor. Substance claim: with rotor dead, pulsed voltages are fed to stator and rotor phases as Heaviside function with other short-circuited phases. Currents of all phases originating on feeding said voltage are measured that makes components of the Green integral matrix. Appropriate integral Green matrix components of tested motor are compared with corresponding components of reference integral Green matrix. Given deviations in appropriate components of said matrices, allow judging upon the presence of defects in motor active part structure.

EFFECT: higher reliability of defect pinpointing.
