FIELD: physics; geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to marine seismic survey and can be used to search for offshore hydrocarbon deposits. The system has an apparatus for picking up signals made in form of a group of seafloor reception devices. The reception devices consist of a firm housing, inside of which there are seismic signal sensors, a detector, an information timing device and a device for determining orientation of the housing. The reception devices also have a light housing, the top cavity of which has openings through which the cavity between the light housing and the firm housing fills with sea water when the station is placed on the sea floor. The light housing is mated with an anchor-ballast at the bottom part through a release and elastic straps. The anchor-ballast is made from reinforced concrete and is cup-shaped. Between the firm housing and the light housing there is an elastic vibration source consisting of an exciting coil and a spark plug, as well as one more sensor for determining orientation of the housing. On the outer surface of the firm housing there is a mast with a sensor ring on which there a hydroacoustic communication channel, hydrophones and geophones.
EFFECT: more accurate measurement, improved environmental friendliness and cost-effectiveness of the system.
