SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a system and a method of displaying test data collected from a furnace. The system has a device (106) for storing test data (112). The system also has a computer (102) programmed to divide the test data (112) into sections with several data markers in order to associate test data (112) with the physical structure of the furnace. Each data marker identifies the location of the physical feature of the furnace (such as bending outer relief surface, bypass pipe, heat well, weld joint, flange, change in processing route and/or change in diametre). Preferably, the computer (102) is also programmed to display test data divided into sections, where the display is two- or three-dimensional presentation of segments of the furnace pipes. The display can be used in order to visually show problem areas of the furnace. Various embodiments of the system and method are disclosed.
