SUBSTANCE: invention relates to volume control devices which regulate the volume on the basis of listener location. The location of one or more loudspeakers is identified, and the location of the listener is traced. For each of one or more loudspeakers the variable distance between this loudspeaker and the listener is estimated. The loudness of this loudspeaker is automatically regulated in real time on the basis of the current distance between this loudspeaker and the listener.

EFFECT: implementation of possibility of regulation of loudness depending on the listener location.
