FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: procedure for analysis of pipe section in place of field includes following stages: during lifting pipe section is scanned at least with one sensor; obtained data are analysed for evaluation of technical condition of pipe section and on base of analysis of scan data pipe sections are assorted. Also, control over velocity of pipe section lifting is performed at the stage of scanning. Recorded data obtained at non-stable velocity of lifting are eliminated. Data of analysis obtained at required constant velocity are mapped graphically on a screen of the monitor. Data of analysis can be mapped with various colours depending on a degree of technical state of an analysed string. Velocity of analysis can be set beforehand or it can be input on base of the analysed string and used sensors. The procedure for analysis of technical state of a pipe section is performed by means of the system including a pipe scanner with multitude of sensors, a computing device, a device for data mapping and a device for pipe section marking.
EFFECT: upgraded accuracy of evaluation of technical state of oil field pipes or bars.
