METHOD OF QUANTITATIVE ASSESSMENT OF RESPIRATORY SYSTEM EFFICIENCY Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61B5/08

Abstract RU 2392854 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biology and medicine, particularly to functional diagnostics. For quantitative assessment of respiratory system efficiency, respiratory volume in litres and number of respiratory motions per minute are determined. Respiratory volume is multiplied by 121.36, number of respiratory motions is multiplied by 3.546; total of the two products is subtracted from 200 obtaining respiratory system efficiency in points. Respiratory system efficiency of 20 points or less refers to I class of low efficiency level; 20 to 40 points refers to II class of efficiency below medium level; 40 to 60 points refer to III class of medium efficiency level; 60 to 80 points refer to IV class of efficiency above medium level; 80 points or more refer to V class of high efficiency level.

EFFECT: viable non-invasive method enabling comparative assessment with minor time consumption, extended diagnostic capabilities of human functional state assessment due to respiratory system efficiency assessment.
