SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine namely to dentistry and can be used in dental practice for removal of metal swaged crowns. The method of metal swaged crown removal involves cutting a crown wall and removal from a tooth. A "П"-shaped saw cut of the crown starts from a incisal edge for incisors and canines or a occlusal surfaces for premolars and molars, continues along vestibular or occlusal surfaces, not reaching 1.5-3 mm to a gingival edge. A cleared rectangular edge of the crown is fixed and held with a surgical clamp or forceps; then the crown is removed by twisting along the vertical saw cuts towards the gingival edge, with a metal notch of the crown being wound on the clamp and an uncut section being torn at the gingival edge.
EFFECT: elimination of potential injures of gingival mucosa and reduced risk of adverse complications.
