SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopedic dentistry and is intended for tooth preparation. Level of patient's personal and situational anxiety is determined. Premedication introduction of drugs is carried out: at low level - 25-30 points - 125 mg of mexidol one hour before preparation, at medium level of anxiety - 31-44 points - 250 mg of mexidol 4-6 hours before preparation, 125 mg of mexidol and intramuscularly 1 mg of dalargin one hour before preparation, at high level - 45-60 points - 250 mg of mexidol 24 hours before preparation, 250 mg pf mexidol 4-5 hours before preparation, 125 mg of mixidol 1 hour before preparation, dalargin is introduced intramuscularly 1-2 mg 24 hours before treatment and 1-2 mg one hour before preparation. Dimension of preliminary ledge is determined by formula: PI=FI+D_pl-D_fl/2, where PI is value of preliminary ledge, mm; FI is value of final ledge, mm; D_pl is tooth dimension at the level of preliminary ledge, mm; D_fl is tooth dimension at the level of final ledge, mm. In region of final ledge thickness of remaining solid tooth tissues is determined and preliminary ledge is formed. On vestibular and oral surfaces created is ledge at angle 135° to tooth axis, on approximal surfaces - symbol of ledge. In dentin layer milling to gum edge is made. Above its level circular or partial ledge is formed.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase quality of tooth preparation in patients with periodontitis due to reduction of psychological tension of patients before preparation procedure and acute determination of volume of grinding away solid tissues.
