FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and aims at treating visual impairments following brain tumour extraction. It involves photostimulation at frequency modes 4-35 Hz, the most typical rhythms of bioelectric brain activity. The encephalogram shows adoption of presented flicker rate in the involved and intact cerebral hemispheres. It is followed with combined light and electric stimulation of the afferent input of the involved cerebral hemispheres in the frequency range 4-9 Hz, and of the intact cerebral hemisphere in the frequency range 10-35 Hz. Frequency variation of the flicker adoption is controlled to correct the exposure modes. The therapeutic course is 10-15 sessions.
EFFECT: method allows prescribing the adequate frequency modes capable to cause brain response.
