FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out transorbital electrostimulation treatment by applying bipolar rectangular pulses in single procedure by means of point electrodes set. First of all, electroencephalogram is taken for determining alpha-rhythm characteristics. Depending on alpha-rhythm specific properties, stimulation is carried out under frequency and amplitude modulation in quasi-stochastic mode at the first stage as set-swinging mode. The stimulation itself takes place at the second stage. Stimulation frequency is selected at this stage in accordance with alpha-rhythm frequency. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment due to treatment characteristics being individually selected. 6 cl, 1 dwg
