FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to perinatology and neonatology. A device for aspiration biological fluid from nasal cavity and nasopharyngeal space in newborns has a working end section. The working end section represents a soft catheter made of polyvinylchloride elastron with a movable limiter and has a funnel-shaped extension at a blunt angle to its longitudinal axis.
EFFECT: fewer injures of nasal mucosa and improved passing ability of the device for aspirated biological fluid with dynamic viscosity more than 1,3×10-3 Pa*s.
