FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in spring hardening devices. Proposed device comprises top and bottom inserts and cup to accommodate the former and the latter and springs arranged there between, male mould with ball surface in contact with that of the top insert. Bottom insert is arranged to revolve about the cup axis, while top insert can revolve about and move along cup axis and have its axis departing from cup axis. Said inserts have circular grooves on their faces with diametre mating inner diametre of the spring and depth making at least the height of spring turn. Cup inner diametre varies from compressed spring diametre to coiled spring diametre.
EFFECT: reduced labor input and higher efficiency.
