FIELD: materials pressure processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of materials by pressure and can be used in devices for contact deflection of conical or parabolic springs, the coils of which, at maximum compression, enter each other, and the height of the compressed springs is equal to the diameter of their coil. The device contains an upper plate with a punch holder attached to it with a punch with a spherical surface in contact with the spherical surface of the upper insert. A lower insert is installed on the bottom plate with the possibility of rotation relative to the punch axis. The upper insert is mounted on the upper plate with the possibility of rotation and movement along the axis of the punch and is connected to the punch by means of a stepped screw with the provision of gaps between the outer surface of the cylindrical part of the screw and the surface of the hole in the upper insert and between the head of the stepped screw and the counter surface of the upper insert. Adjustable stops with oval holes are attached to the bottom plate by means of bolts, ensuring the permutation of the stops relative to the outer diameter of the unwilling spring coincides with its axis with the axis of the upper and the axis of the lower liners when placing the unwilling spring between the said inserts and stops.
EFFECT: hardening of the surface of the coils of the springs of the specified type is provided.
