FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: device includes upper and lower inserts and shell for installation of inserts in it and spring between them, puncheon with ball surface contacting with ball surface of upper insert. Lower insert is installed so that it can be rotated relative to the shell axis, and upper insert is installed so that it can be rotated and moved along the shell axis and the axis can be deviated from puncheon axis. Inserts are provided with grooves for 3/4 of the turn which are flat and for 1/4 of the turn which are screw, which have the diameter corresponding to inner diameter of the spring with the depth of not less than by the height of spring turn with lift height of the turn by the height of edge of the spring turn, and shell has inner diameter within diameter of compressed spring to diameter of coiled spring.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of plastic strengthening of springs with ground edges of extreme turns.
